Our customer, Kamux, is utilising our customer service chat solution to accelerate sales of used cars. On March 20th, the financial daily Kauppalehti reported that transactions through Kamux's chat service have more than doubled over the past year. This amounts to around 20,000 conversations annually, according to Aku Korpela, the head of Kamux's chat team, in an interview with Kauppalehti.
The article states that Korpela sees growing demand particularly among people who work shifts and those with busy schedules. Often, the cars for sale are located in a different city from the customer.
Kamux's Country Director for Finland, Tommi Iiskonmäki, also mentions that salespeople are excited about selling through chat. "The best salespeople complete 150 deals per day through the chat," Iiskonmäki says. Customer service representatives and salespeople have also praised the user interface of the chat, saying that it makes it easy to manage customer queries.
